Small Group sessions: you still get the attention that you deserve but with other dog owners. This service is slightly cheaper and limited to specific times. The basic course teaches your dog their name, sit, down, come, touch, stay, place, leave it/drop it, and heel.

In-House sessions: Its a little more in price but your dog learns at home (that’s where the issue is, right?) We come to you, train you in sessions that will not overwhelm you and allows your dog to learn in their natural setting.

Poop Pick-up: Tired of picking up your dog’s waste? Eww, that’s no fun, well we don’t mind and will pick it up with a smile!

Walking service: This is done in 30 minute increments. Longer periods are available. Single dog or multiple dogs. You don’t want your dog sitting at home alone all day, do you?

  • GROUP CLASSES

    We would like to thank everyone who came to our first group class on the 20th of May. We will be having another class soon at the American Legion, post 10 (on the hill)

    Sign up now to reserve your spot. Bring water pan, treats, leash and favorite dog toys. Bring a clicker if you would like to have clicker training.

    Obedience training 101 plus any cool tricks you would like to do with your dog! We will also be conducting training soon to teach Canine Scent Work to earn titles!

  • IN-HOME or DROP-OFF TRAINING

    We come to you! Why not train your dog where they will be the most? We teach you and your dog in the comforts of your home. Or you can drop them off with us. We will train your dog whatever topic you want. Arrive early for pick-up so we can go over what your pup has learned and give you home work!

    Bring treats, toys, and water dish. Any food allergies should be presented prior to drop off.

At Spearhead Dog Training we take pride in making you and your dog happy. From puppy to adult, we train them all. Do you need help walking your dog? We do that. Do you need someone to pick up the “duty” left by your precious family member? We do that. Do you need basic training? Advanced training? Manners? Yes, We do that. We do group trainings or if you prefer, in home training so you don’t have to go anywhere! You can also drop off your pup for training. You will pick them up and continue doing homework to make the training solid.

Who We Are

Spearhead Dog Training is 100 percent owned and operated by a disabled US Army Veteran with over 30 years of professional Dog training experience. We are committed to loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and professionalism. Above all we are a Christian operated company with Christian values.

Greg, the owner/operator of Spearhead Dog Training served in the US Army Military Police K9 Corps. He began his career working with dogs by attending the US Air Force canine school at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX in 1993. After finishing school, he went on several deployments with the US Army and as a civilian partnered with an Explosive Detection Dog, protecting dignitaries and US Presidents.

He became a trainer in 1998 and certified as a dog and handler trainer in 2001. He was an Instructor, Evaluator, and trainer for Homeland Security in support of the TSA. He went on to instruct Marines to detect mines and Improvised Explosive Devices in Iraq and Afghanistan. He won first place in detection work at the 1996 All K9 trial in Germany and passed and conducted several certifications. He has worked with obedience, agility, puppy training, controlled aggression, searches, and detection on people and objects. He currently judges for the National Association of Canine Scent Work in addition to helping local clients and clients nationwide.

We are on a mission to train your dog, whether a puppy or an adult, to be a happy and cooperative companion no matter the breed. Our goal is to make you happy while being an advocate for your dog. We use only Positive Reinforcement and have trained hundreds of happy dogs using only R+ methods.
